Possibly unreasonable. Recently, Colorado began allowing disabled
hunters to use crossbows during the archery-only season. An ADA
complaint was a big reason for this change. However, Colorado's web page
clearly says that they will only issue a crossbow permit as a last
resort (if all other methods of accommodation are impossible). This
concerns us. We're going to monitor Colorado's crossbow permit system to
identify whether crossbow accomodations are being unreasonably denied. |
